Celebrate Everyday!

So just thought you might like to is my first project for the Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge!  Yep, I am now on the Design Team...yay!!  I am very excited to be working with these great group of ladies... Today's challenge is sponsored by BUGABOO STAMPS who are giving away 4 digi imagesof the winner's choice!

and also another great sponsor DI'S DIGISTAMPS who will be giving the winner a $12 Gift Certificate for the store to do some shopping!

Here is the card I created using a fun summer image from Bugaboo!

How fun is this guy!  I paired him up with the Summer Fun collection from Fancy pants that I have been trying to use up, so it worked perfectly!  I colored him with my copics and then cut him out.  It's really hard to tell from the picture but his cool shades and his floaty both have some glossy accents! I hope you will come play along with our Anything Goes challenge on the Penny's Paper-Crafty Challenge blog.  The other DT members have some more fun projects to inspire you!

   DP- Fancy Pants
Punches- EK Success & Martha Stewart

It's Coffee Time - UYS Challenge

Ok, so I'm not really a big coffee drinker unless it's a Tim Horton's ice cap, but I really love the Tim Holtz coffee embossing folder when paired with the Stampin Up Perfect Blend stamp set.

Our challenge at Use Your Stuff this week is dry embossing, so this is perfect!  I also used my Susan K. Weckesser Colorbox  color pop inks that I won from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine...OMG these things are so juicy! I LOVE THEM! If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend them!

I also got the Becky Higgins Project Life Fuse Tool for my birthday and have been having some fun with that. I decided to make a small shaker using real coffee!  It's almost like a scratch and sniff card :) I hope you like it and will play along with us at UYS this week!

Go Green

Hello all....

Green is my favorite color so I love ST. Patrick's Day.  However, I don't have a lot of supplies for the day so I don't make a lot of cards.

I did give it a shot with some old stuff I had in my holiday box.  The paper is from Reminisce and some Imagination Project from 2005.  I don't even think they are around anymore.

The image is a freebie that I got from Miss Kate Cuttables called Happy Pot O Gold :)  I just did a flatten in my design space. The ribbon is just from Michaels and the stamp is from Stampin Up (Greatest Greetings)

I created this for the Paper Play Sketches challenge this week.

Mojo Monday # 486

Hello All,
Playing along with Mojo Monday's sketch today!
This sketch is pretty layer heavy which for me is great because I love layers.
I have a big box of loose papers, some that are mine, and some that I got from swaps and such.  I really wanted to start getting this box down, so I used some papers for this challenge.  I don't know where they are from as I think I got them in a swap.
I made two cards, basically the same but with a slight variation.  I hope you like it and don't forget to play along!
DP: Unknown
Cardstock: Recollections
Sequins: stash
Stamps: Stampin' Up
Twine: Maya Road
Die Cuts: Spellbinders
Embossing Folder: Darice

I've entered into these other challenges as well
Ooh La La Creations: Embossing (Wet or Dry)

Let's Play Bingo

Hello all!
I am hosting this week's challenge at Use Your Stuff and we are playing BINGO!  I've created a fun bingo card to use on your project (a great way to get the MOJO going as well if you are stuck!).  Here's the card , there are lots of fun items to play with.
Here is the card I created using the horizontal line of red, die cuts/cut aparts, hearts and doily

The DP is from American Crafts XOXO collection. The doily, die cuts and white foam heart are from recollections and the glittered hearts I cut using some Recollections glitter paper and my little $$ store heart punch.  I hope you like it and hop on over to the blog to play along and to see what the rest of the DT has created for you!

Grade 3 Cutie!

Hey there! It's a new challenge from our new DT member Beth on the Use Your Stuff blog!  Her challenge is to use your favorite punches on your project. I have this heart punch that I bought at a garage sale years ago for like a dime!  It's one of my favorites because it just adds a pop of color to a layout or card...just a little finishing touch. Here is my layout for you this week.  I have been trying to use up the kits that I have and have been putting together and this one is made from the Yes, Please line from Amy Tangerine for American Crafts!  I love the colors in this line! Be sure to stop by the blog and join in on the fun!

So I get the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up.  I'm not 100% sold on it yet (it's been since September) but can't quite bring myself to cancel.  It's been hit and miss for me. The December kit was a desk calendar kit.  Ya, not my thing.  So with the help of Pinterest, I found some great card ideas instead! We have a challenge at Use Your Stuff this week which is Flowers!  Perfect.  The kit has some great flowery bits that I could use!  Take a look!

They actually turned out great! Thank you to those totally creative individuals on Pinterest! These are the rest of the cards I made with the kit!

All the sequins and butterflies (using the Butterflies thinlits from Stampin' Up) were from my stash as were some of the sentiments but much of the cards were from the kit.   I think they turned out well!  Now, make sure you stop by the Use Your Stuff blog this week and join in our challenge.  The DT has created some fabulous projects and a lot of our new team has joined in the fun!
