Something a little Different- One of My Favorite Authors.....

Image
So Caitlyn O'Leary is a favorite author of mine and she is re-releasing her Fate Harbour Series which comes out on May 23rd! Check it out! Yes, these are ménage books but even with the steamy parts throughout this book, the characters feel like real emotional people with real problems that will bring out the feels. You've got the spice, but there is also deep emotion, as well as witty banter, laughter and love. They are great well rounded reads ! 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐡𝐚𝐬𝐞 → Billionaire Romance, Contemporary, Menage 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐎𝐥𝐢𝐯𝐢𝐚 → Romantic Suspense, Menage 𝐈𝐬𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐚’𝐬 𝐒𝐮𝐛𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 → Romantic Suspense, Menage 𝐂𝐥𝐚𝐢𝐦𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐫𝐚 → Second Chance Romance, Menage 𝐂𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐁𝐫𝐢𝐚𝐧𝐧𝐚 → Mystery & Suspense Romance, Ménage (Fate Harbor Series are stand-alone novels, guaranteed HEA, no cheating. It will enhance the reader's enjoyment if they are read in order.) 🤍 𝐄𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐫 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆!𝐯𝐞𝐚𝐰𝐚𝐲 → https://bit.ly/

Is it Tuesday already?  Have you been to the  Tuesday Morning Sketches blog y et?  Our new sketch is there…. I didn’t want to do a flower for my card, and that’s the great thing about a sketch..you can interpret it the way that you want that fits your style.  I’ve had this Doodlebug Doodlepop sitting on my desk forever and I finally wanted to use it! So I pulled out some random coffee papers from my stash…i think there is mostly Echo Park and some Stampin Up in there.  I added the doodlepops and then the sentiment is from  Ink Road Stamps Head on over to the  blog  and see what the other DT have created.  Don’t forget to leave them some love! Welcome to Tuesday! Here we go with our latest sketch challenge on Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This is a pretty one! For fun on this one, I had my son pick out 5 cues from my challenge bucket  to use on my card.  This is a great idea if sometimes you  have trouble getting your mojo going.   I have this bucket that lists all kinds of scrappy goodies on a piece of paper, ie patterned paper, twine, ribbon, embossing, stamping, eyelets etc.   Then you pick 5 and incorporate them into your project!  So the 5 he picked for me were twine, freebie, washi tape,  embossing (heat or dry), tiny type word stickers So this is what turned out! For the freebie, I used the leaf die cuts!  It turned out pretty good I think.  I had this DP in my autumn folder for awhile now and I wanted to use it. I hope you will play along with us this week!

Fun Fold Feathers

Hey everyone!  I'm up with this week's challenge at the Cardz4Guyz blog today.  My theme is to use a die cut on your project..pretty easy right!  For my card, I used this really fun fold that came into my email from Debbie Naylor who has a great Stampin Up blog www.UnfrogettableStamping.com   .  She sent us this great tutorial on how to make a U-Fold card!  I really thought this was fun so I gave it a try !  I used some Stampin Up with this card but you can totally use whatever product you have in your stash! Now I'm just showing you the front of my card, but if you check out her original tutorial from Feb 14, 2019 you will see just how fun this fold is!  This is super easy thanks to her step by step instructions!  Try it, you will be making tonz of these   Now for my card, I used some scrap paper and an old stamp that I had for the sentiment.  I used a combination of my CC Designs die to cut out the oval in the centre and my Stampin Up feather stamp & di

Hi Everyone! Welcome to our first Pile it On challenge of March.  We are being sponsored by the lovely  The Paper Shelter Our theme this week is to create a project where your favorite color is the focus…for me, this is Green!  So I created this fun St. Patrick’s Day birthday card using the Paper Shelter  Giraffes On Holiday  (the St. Patrick’s Day image) I just used some random papers from my stash for this and a couple of different dies for the image and mat…I added some St. Patrick’s day ribbon and shamrock stickers.  The sentiment I printed out on my computer in a Celtic font which I thought went really great with this image! Come on over to the PIO blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you! Entered into these challenges: Creative Knockouts : Lots of Layers ( I love layers, I’m really challenged with CAS cards) Water Cooler Wednesday:  All about Occasions (I’ve got birthday and St. Patrick’s Day)

Under the Mistletoe

Welcome to March everyone.  I know lots of people say that February went by fast, but not for me!  Oh man, it felt like those Arctic cold days just kept dragging on one after the other. I am glad to be in March and the 'green month'.  Green is my favorite color! :) Ok...new challenge at Christmas Crafts All Year Long ...this month's theme is Mistletoe/Love/Kissing....so go ahead and create a Christmas project with that theme in mind and we want to see it! Here's mine! My stamp set is actually a Valentine's day one from Recollections.  I embossed it in black and then colored it in with my copics.  Surprisingly, I had zero items for mistletoe!!!  I did manage to find a little cut apart from a sheet that happened to have a mistletoe on it, so I fussy cut it out and put it atop of my 'hogs.  The DP is Merry and Bright from Pink Paislee and the stamp set is from Momenta (wow..old on that one eh??? ). Hop on over to the blog and play along with us!

Hey there all! It's a bit early but I have a St. Patrick's Day card for you.  It's for our Clean and Simple Challenge over at Cardz4Guyz for you! I decided to break out my Tim Holtz Crazy Birds stamps and dies along with their little accessories.  I haven't used this set in practically forever! I colored him with my copics and then cut him out using the co-ordinating dies.  I did a squiggly, hand drawn border and then for embellishments, just a titch of washi, a shamrock and some enamel dots.  The sentiment is from Hero Arts. Come play along with us on the blog and show us your CAS!
