Mama Mia Lollipop Challenge #79
Hi everyone! I hope you enjoyed National Scrapbooking Day on Saturday. I was lucky enough to spend it with my BFF and another good friend at a crop put on by Scrapshotz every year in May. Always a lot of fun.
Our challenge at Lollipop Crafts this week is being sponsored by Meljen's designs. A favorite of mine to be sure. Our challenge is Mama Mia, so any project paying tribute to that special woman in your life..could be mom, grandma, mother in law, daughter who's a mom....that sort of thing
For my project today I wanted to share with you this really adorable card that we made for our make and take at the crop on Saturday. Virginia from Scrapshotz's design team always has THE BEST make and takes.
It's really hard to tell, but the yellow paper actually has a honeycomb pattern in resist on it and then we inked over it with some chalk inks. I used the yellow and you can see a very bit of the blue in there. Very cool. The flower was cut from a spellbinders. Totally loving that 3D look.
We also created the ever cool tea bag holder. I am still waiting to get the template on this one, so if anyone knows where it came from please let me know!
I hope you enjoyed today's projects. Feel free to stop by the Scrapshotz Blog for some great inspiration, tips and techniques, and join the forum for great challenges and a lot of fun!
Most importantly, don't forget to stop by the Lollipop Crafts blog and enter into our challenge this week.
These have been entered into the following challenges:
Dream Valley challenges: for a special lady
Great Impressions: anything goes
Paper Sundaes: Mother's day
Sentimental Sundays: for a special woman
