Glittery Valentine

Can you believe February will be here soon?  My birthday is in about 2 weeks!  I'm celebrating with a bunch of my friends and having a wine and paint party....but that's another story.... Our new challenge is ready for you at the Use Your Stuff blog!  Renee is challenging us to use sequins and/or glitter on our pages.  Now we all know that I have a love/hate relationship with glitter that I am not sure I will ever get over.  Certainly not at this point, so I decided to forego actual glitter and instead, cracked open a big stack of glittered paper that I had.  I really loved the red and knew it would be perfect for a Valentine's card I need to send out to my Secret Cupid on the SCS site. I totally CASE'd it off of this card from Pinterest!  I hope you like it and I hope to see you play along with us on the blog this week!

    I like your idea of using glitter paper to meet the glitter requirement. Loose glitter makes me itchy so I totally understand the love/hate relationship thing. Great sparkly Valentine's card!!!

Is it Tuesday already?  Have you been to the  Tuesday Morning Sketches blog y et?  Our new sketch is there…. I didn’t want to do a flower for my card, and that’s the great thing about a sketch..you can interpret it the way that you want that fits your style.  I’ve had this Doodlebug Doodlepop sitting on my desk forever and I finally wanted to use it! Vintage Tag for St. Pattys (Challenge Masters DT)

Hey there...so my last tag challenge as the Tag Diva for Challenge Masters, is to create a green tag..it can be any subject as long as it is mainly green...you can check out all the deets here by the way... So this is the one I created. I colored my tag using Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks with a little Vintage Photo thrown in. I had printed off a vintage pic from the internet because I really don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day images. I used the vintage photo on it as well and then the rest of the tag was just made using some bits and bobs from my stash. The DP is some BG I've been using for other projects..The flower I inked up a bit to blend it with the tag and same with the lacy ribbon on the bottom (it was originally beige). Box it, Gift it

Hey there.  It's another new challenge on Lollipop Crafts this week and we are looking for your boxes or gifts. Okay..this is not something I normally make but I did have a good time doing it.  A big thank you to Angie Kennedy Juda aka Chicnsratch on Youtube for her tutorial as that's what I used for my project this week.
