Hello Monday Peeps!  Have you stopped by the UYS blog today? Our new challenge is up!  This week we are using triangles!

So I decided to go with a layout today because I really wanted to try a background die cut.  I came across this one from Bits and Pieces .    I thought it would be fun to do a Disney Layout and back the pieces with my Disney papers.  The actual diecut is called Shattered Glass but it has some fun triangle pieces to it.




I used DP from Simple Stories & Echo Park, as well as their embellishments.  The sentiments are die cuts from Stampin Up and the internet.

Vintage Tag for St. Pattys (Challenge Masters DT)

Hey there...so my last tag challenge as the Tag Diva for Challenge Masters, is to create a green tag..it can be any subject as long as it is mainly green...you can check out all the deets here by the way... So this is the one I created. I colored my tag using Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks with a little Vintage Photo thrown in. I had printed off a vintage pic from the internet because I really don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day images. I used the vintage photo on it as well and then the rest of the tag was just made using some bits and bobs from my stash. The DP is some BG I've been using for other projects..The flower I inked up a bit to blend it with the tag and same with the lacy ribbon on the bottom (it was originally beige). St. Patrick's Day

It's all about the green this week at Creative Corner Challenges .  It's my month to host and with St. Patrick's Day coming up my challenge this week is Go Green.  You have to have something green on your project.  An easy challenge to be sure, so I hope many people sign up.  I'm even offering a little prize this week. Here's my card for this week's challenge.   Surprisingly, with St. Pat's being one of my favorite holidays (purely for the green factor) I don't have a lot of St. Pat's stuff.  I had green paper but nothing to go with it.  I printed off this image from Bugaboo Stamps as it was offered as a freebie although now I think it is for purchase in the store, thank goodness and the shamrock i cut out using my Cricut.  This is a really simple and flat card because it's doing double duty.  Not only is it for this challenge but I need to mail it out for a St. Patrick's day swap on Swap-bot.com.  The paper was all from my stash ...

A Fairy Hello

Hello! I hope that you moms out there had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday.  There is nothing I am more proud of than being a mom to my little Riley.  I can't believe he'll be 2 in July!  Time does fly. Today is a new challenge on the Lollipop Crafts blog. The image is from SoftPencil's Tinytwinies which the DT got to play with.  So cute. This is the Charming Flowers image. How adorable is this!  I colored her using my Copics.
