If The Scrap Fits

Hello!  Our sponsor this week for Penny's is Paper Creator   (the winner this week gets a £10 credit to the store)  and I just knew I wanted to use this fun image!  I don't have a lot of fall/autumn images and Noah is just too darn cute.  I also knew that I had some fun autumn DP in my stash that I received in a swap that I really wanted to use with it! Now this image is pre-colored because we all know my coloring skills leave a lot to be desired. The sentiment is from a bunch of new goodies I received from Vicki Boutin.  They are from her fun line with American Crafts.  I punched out some maple leaves with my punch out of some of the DP and cardstock.   I also had a little yellow leaf that I got in a swap ages ago. Hooray for Friday!  Weekend! So sad that we are down to our final weekends of the summer :( Ok it's my team's week at Brown Sugar and our sponsor this week is My Besties! We have a really fun color challenge for you this week! Look how bright this is!! Just perfect for your summer projects! So for my card this week, I dabbled in some watercoloring.  I say dabbled because I'm not very good at it, but it was fun to play!  I used my Sakura Create watercolor markers as well as some copics and a few of the distress oxide inks! My DP is from My Minds Eye - an older collection called Notable.  I also just added a few little sequins for that pop of red. Happy weekend all!  It's a long weekend here in Canada, but unfortunately, I have to work so no camping for me. BOO!  I have been hard at work clearing off my scrap space as I am preparing to make a schwack of cards for Ronald McDonald House in BC as part of a group in Splitcoaststampers.  Anyway..I've had this pile of scraps and bits and bobs on my desk FOREVER because I didn't want to throw them out until I tried to use them up a bit.
