Relax

Can you believe it is already the last day of July!  The summer is already half over :(  Summertime is my favorite time to just relax..and hey, guess what...that's our new challenge theme over at Cardz4Guyz!  Show us what relaxing means to you!  Is it hanging out in a chair on the beach, fishing, camping, or maybe yoga....let's see what you come up with.

I had zero stamps that I could use for this challenge, so I decided to use my Cricut Explore Air instead.  I found an image that I really liked from the Fun in the Sun cartridge, that I cut out.  I added some fun paper from my Lakeside 6x6 paper pack from Pebbles (it's an oldie - 2012!).  The sentiment I found online and just printed it out on some colored cardstock.  It says Take Time to Relax and enjoy the good life.
It's a little hard to see here but I added some glossy accents to his shirt and to the glass and umbrella just for a bit of added texture.

Is it Tuesday already?  Have you been to the  Tuesday Morning Sketches blog y et?  Our new sketch is there…. I didn’t want to do a flower for my card, and that’s the great thing about a sketch..you can interpret it the way that you want that fits your style.  I’ve had this Doodlebug Doodlepop sitting on my desk forever and I finally wanted to use it! Vintage Tag for St. Pattys (Challenge Masters DT)

Hey there...so my last tag challenge as the Tag Diva for Challenge Masters, is to create a green tag..it can be any subject as long as it is mainly green...you can check out all the deets here by the way... So this is the one I created. I colored my tag using Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks with a little Vintage Photo thrown in. I had printed off a vintage pic from the internet because I really don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day images. I used the vintage photo on it as well and then the rest of the tag was just made using some bits and bobs from my stash. The DP is some BG I've been using for other projects..The flower I inked up a bit to blend it with the tag and same with the lacy ribbon on the bottom (it was originally beige). Box it, Gift it

Hey there.  It's another new challenge on Lollipop Crafts this week and we are looking for your boxes or gifts. Okay..this is not something I normally make but I did have a good time doing it.  A big thank you to Angie Kennedy Juda aka Chicnsratch on Youtube for her tutorial as that's what I used for my project this week.
