Hi Everyone! Welcome to our first Pile it On challenge of March. We are being sponsored by the lovely The Paper Shelter Our theme this week is to create a project where your favorite color is the focus…for me, this is Green! So I created this fun St. Patrick’s Day birthday card using the Paper Shelter Giraffes On Holiday (the St. Patrick’s Day image) I just used some random papers from my stash for this and a couple of different dies for the image and mat…I added some St. Patrick’s day ribbon and shamrock stickers. The sentiment I printed out on my computer in a Celtic font which I thought went really great with this image! Come on over to the PIO blog and see what the rest of the DT has created for you! Entered into these challenges: Creative Knockouts : Lots of Layers ( I love layers, I’m really challenged with CAS cards) Water Cooler Wednesday: All about Occasions (I’ve got birthday and St. Patrick’s Day)
I'm so excited to be sharing with you my first challenge card as part of the Use it Tuesday design team for this term. Honestly, if you need to be challenged to use that stuff you already have piling up on your desk, this is the blog for you. You would be surprised how much stuff I have used and not only that, how much stuff I've come across that I had forgotten I've even had. Sooo...this week we are embossing! Blow the dust off your embossing folders (like I did), dig out that embossing powder, whatever you have laying around. As always, one lucky participant will be randomly chosen to be a featured guest designer in an upcoming challenge! ***REMEMBER: All of our challenges call for you to use your hoarded supplies! A challenge requirement is to tell us in your post what you used!*** Here is what I have for you today! So I wasn't kidding when I said I blew the dust off of my embossing folder. I think this is one of the first ones I ever bought ...
Hello all! Welcome to Monday here on my blog. It's been awhile since I've posted here on blogger as I usually do everything on my wordpress, but I really need to start using both of them! LOL It's a new challenge at Lollipop Crafts and this week is an Anything Goes challenge. So it's just for fun and we get to highlight our top three on Sunday! Let your creative juices run wild! I know the DT has some wicked inspiration for you so don't forget to stop by the blog and leave them some love! So as you know, I belong to Swap-bot.com which I love because of all the different card swaps they do there. I have one that is a card swap with a twist...so my partner actually sends me the embellishments to put on the card, I make it and send it back. So I was sent some ribbon, a flower,a button and a brad. Not a lot to work with, but luckily they all matched. So this is the card that I created inspired by the supplies I was sent. Someone had sent m...
