some tags


I made these for a yahoo group swap. The theme was 'spring' I inked them with some tim holtz distress inks, then used one of his masks and inked over that. I had a wood stamp with some old french writing which went over top, added some punched butterflies and bling, a little fringe at the top and voila!

Vintage Tag for St. Pattys (Challenge Masters DT)

Hey there...so my last tag challenge as the Tag Diva for Challenge Masters, is to create a green tag..it can be any subject as long as it is mainly green...you can check out all the deets here by the way... So this is the one I created. I colored my tag using Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks with a little Vintage Photo thrown in. I had printed off a vintage pic from the internet because I really don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day images. I used the vintage photo on it as well and then the rest of the tag was just made using some bits and bobs from my stash. The DP is some BG I've been using for other projects..The flower I inked up a bit to blend it with the tag and same with the lacy ribbon on the bottom (it was originally beige). St. Patrick's Day

It's all about the green this week at Creative Corner Challenges .  It's my month to host and with St. Patrick's Day coming up my challenge this week is Go Green.  You have to have something green on your project.  An easy challenge to be sure, so I hope many people sign up.  I'm even offering a little prize this week. Here's my card for this week's challenge.   Surprisingly, with St. Pat's being one of my favorite holidays (purely for the green factor) I don't have a lot of St. Pat's stuff.  I had green paper but nothing to go with it.  I printed off this image from Bugaboo Stamps as it was offered as a freebie although now I think it is for purchase in the store, thank goodness and the shamrock i cut out using my Cricut.  This is a really simple and flat card because it's doing double duty.  Not only is it for this challenge but I need to mail it out for a St. Patrick's day swap on Swap-bot.com.  The paper was all from my stash ...

A Fairy Hello

Hello! I hope that you moms out there had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday.  There is nothing I am more proud of than being a mom to my little Riley.  I can't believe he'll be 2 in July!  Time does fly. Today is a new challenge on the Lollipop Crafts blog.
