A NEW DT!

So some news for you...I'm really excited to be on the  Christmas at Sweet Stampin Design Team.  I love making Christmas cards and so it's going to be great to inspire you with them each month. Our challenges are anything goes, so this is a great way to challenge yourself to get a head start on your Christmas cards for the year! Here is my first card!20190126_191639

Now we all know that I am trying to use up some of my older stock which is exactly what I've done here....I'm working with Simple Stories and Pink Paislee for my DP and my die cuts.  I fussy cut the snowmen out of a 3x4 card and used it as my focal point.  I've got tonz of those doilies so I'm trying to incorporate them into my projects as well.  A few orange Nuevo dots for a pop of color and voila!  One down!     Fabulous card, great design- fabulous layering with loads of texture and dimension. Well done for using your older stash...keep trying to do the same thing but am too easily tempted from the straight and narrow!

Vintage Tag for St. Pattys (Challenge Masters DT)

Hey there...so my last tag challenge as the Tag Diva for Challenge Masters, is to create a green tag..it can be any subject as long as it is mainly green...you can check out all the deets here by the way... So this is the one I created. I colored my tag using Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks with a little Vintage Photo thrown in. I had printed off a vintage pic from the internet because I really don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day images. I used the vintage photo on it as well and then the rest of the tag was just made using some bits and bobs from my stash. The DP is some BG I've been using for other projects..The flower I inked up a bit to blend it with the tag and same with the lacy ribbon on the bottom (it was originally beige). Is it Tuesday already?  Have you been to the  Tuesday Morning Sketches blog y et?  Our new sketch is there…. I didn’t want to do a flower for my card, and that’s the great thing about a sketch..you can interpret it the way that you want that fits your style.  I’ve had this Doodlebug Doodlepop sitting on my desk forever and I finally wanted to use it! So I pulled out some random coffee papers from my stash…i think there is mostly Echo Park and some Stampin Up in there.  I added the doodlepops and then the sentiment is from  Ink Road Stamps Head on over to the  blog  and see what the other DT have created.  Don’t forget to leave them some love! Box it, Gift it

Hey there.  It's another new challenge on Lollipop Crafts this week and we are looking for your boxes or gifts. Okay..this is not something I normally make but I did have a good time doing it.  A big thank you to Angie Kennedy Juda aka Chicnsratch on Youtube for her tutorial as that's what I used for my project this week.
