Sing Me a Song

Happy February everyone!  It's here!  I'm always excited as my birthday is on the 11th :) Pop on over to Christmas Crafts All Year Long and see what this month's challenge has inspired the Design team to create. Our theme is Carols/Songs.

 This is from a Stampin Up kit that I found on one of my shelves. (Sorry, the name escapes me)  I didn't have the actual stamps that went with the kit so that one is from my stash, and I added the twine and the Nuevo dots.

 It's fairly clean and simple for me, and quite easy as well with all the pieces needed right there in the kit! I hope you like it and look forward to seeing what you create as you play along with us!

Hi Everyone! Welcome to our first Pile it On challenge of March.  We are being sponsored by the lovely  The Paper Shelter Our theme this week is to create a project where your favorite color is the focus…for me, this is Green!  So I created this fun St. Patrick’s Day birthday card using the Paper Shelter  Giraffes On Holiday  (the St. Patrick’s Day image) I just used some random papers from my stash for this and a couple of different dies for the image and mat…I added some St. Patrick’s day ribbon and shamrock stickers.  The sentiment I printed out on my computer in a Celtic font which I thought went really great with this image! A Fairy Hello

Hello! I hope that you moms out there had a lovely Mother's Day yesterday.  There is nothing I am more proud of than being a mom to my little Riley.  I can't believe he'll be 2 in July!  Time does fly. Today is a new challenge on the Lollipop Crafts blog. We are being sponsored by Soft Pencil this week and here is the link to their site and you can check out all the great digital images & all that Elizabeth has to offer.  Our challenge this week is a fancy folds one...so we'd like to see creations with more than one fold on them.  Here is mine for this week. The image is from SoftPencil's Tinytwinies which the DT got to play with.  So cute. This is the Charming Flowers image. How adorable is this!  I colored her using my Copics. I used some Sarah Hurley digital papers for this card. She has some great stuff so make sure you check the link! St. Patrick's Day

It's all about the green this week at Creative Corner Challenges .  It's my month to host and with St. Patrick's Day coming up my challenge this week is Go Green.  You have to have something green on your project.  An easy challenge to be sure, so I hope many people sign up.  I'm even offering a little prize this week. Here's my card for this week's challenge.   Surprisingly, with St. Pat's being one of my favorite holidays (purely for the green factor) I don't have a lot of St. Pat's stuff.  I had green paper but nothing to go with it.  I printed off this image from Bugaboo Stamps as it was offered as a freebie although now I think it is for purchase in the store, thank goodness and the shamrock i cut out using my Cricut.  This is a really simple and flat card because it's doing double duty.  Not only is it for this challenge but I need to mail it out for a St. Patrick's day swap on Swap-bot.com.  The paper was all from my stash ...
