If The Scrap Fits

Hello one and all! I have a new layout for you today to go along with our new challenge up at Use Your Stuff!   This week's theme is border punches!  I've not been using mine regularly so it was nice to pull them out and play a bit. My layout today is also the March Scrapbook & Cards Today 365 2018   class.  I must say, now that I have committed to doing these classes, I have been finding my love for scrapbooking again, and it's a nice change from doing cards all the time.    For this layout I pulled out a kit that I had created several months ago for a crop and just never got around to using.  The papers are from Everyday Circus by Fancy Pants, as well as some Simple Stories and Heidi Swapp mixed in.  My border punch is EK Success (and I had to practically blow the dust off of it!.) Hey there! It's a new challenge from our new DT member Beth on the Use Your Stuff blog!  Her challenge is to use your favorite punches on your project. I have this heart punch that I bought at a garage sale years ago for like a dime!  It's one of my favorites because it just adds a pop of color to a layout or card...just a little finishing touch. Here is my layout for you this week.  I have been trying to use up the kits that I have and have been putting together and this one is made from the Yes, Please line from Amy Tangerine for American Crafts!  I love the colors in this line! So this past weekend, was my yearly trek to the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival hosted by the lovely ladies at Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. This year's theme was the 80's and I totally got my groove on!  It was so much fun!  I am also excited to report that I will have 2 layouts published in the upcoming spring issue, so I cannot wait for you to see that!  It will be one double layout and one single!  So excited and grateful to Canadian Scrapbooker for allowing me to be a part of their amazing magazine that highlights such astounding talent from coast to coast!
