If The Scrap Fits

It is our first challenge of the new year at Use Your Stuff and I went old school for this one.  The challenge was to use tags on your project and I found some bits and pieces in my stash...die cuts, scraps, transparencies and decided to go with this layout. I don't often do double page layouts, but one of my challenges for this year is to use up my stash and a double layout will definitely help me do that!   It just has some simple stamping and inking.  I haven't found pictures to put into it yet....it feels vintage to me, so I need to find some of my old pics and see what I can pop in there. Welcome to Monday! It's challenge day at The Crazy Challenge and this week, we're looking for all the lovely ladies out there!  I must be on a vintage kick, which for me is surprising, because I never really thought of myself as the vintage type..anyway, here is my card. The image is downloaded from the internet (I really wish I had a stash of vintage images from a book or something). The music sheet is left over from a Tim Holtz Christmas Tag..it was printed out onto vellum and then inked and distressed to give it a vintagy feel.  The bling, pearl strand, ribbons and flowers are all from my stash. Hey there...so my last tag challenge as the Tag Diva for Challenge Masters, is to create a green tag..it can be any subject as long as it is mainly green...you can check out all the deets here by the way... So this is the one I created. I colored my tag using Pine Needles, Shabby Shutters and Peeled Paint Distress Inks with a little Vintage Photo thrown in. I had printed off a vintage pic from the internet because I really don't have a lot of St. Patrick's Day images. I used the vintage photo on it as well and then the rest of the tag was just made using some bits and bobs from my stash. The DP is some BG I've been using for other projects..The flower I inked up a bit to blend it with the tag and same with the lacy ribbon on the bottom (it was originally beige).
