If The Scrap Fits

Hello!  Our sponsor this week for Penny's is Paper Creator   (the winner this week gets a £10 credit to the store)  and I just knew I wanted to use this fun image!  I don't have a lot of fall/autumn images and Noah is just too darn cute.  I also knew that I had some fun autumn DP in my stash that I received in a swap that I really wanted to use with it! Now this image is pre-colored because we all know my coloring skills leave a lot to be desired. The sentiment is from a bunch of new goodies I received from Vicki Boutin.  They are from her fun line with American Crafts.  I punched out some maple leaves with my punch out of some of the DP and cardstock.   I also had a little yellow leaf that I got in a swap ages ago. Hey there! It's a new challenge from our new DT member Beth on the Use Your Stuff blog!  Her challenge is to use your favorite punches on your project. I have this heart punch that I bought at a garage sale years ago for like a dime!  It's one of my favorites because it just adds a pop of color to a layout or card...just a little finishing touch. Here is my layout for you this week.  I have been trying to use up the kits that I have and have been putting together and this one is made from the Yes, Please line from Amy Tangerine for American Crafts!  I love the colors in this line! It's a new challenge day at Red Carpet Studio and I am hosting this week~  My Challenge is based on a movie that I love In this 1964 beloved musical, pompous phonetics professor Henry Higgins (Rex Harrison) is so sure of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to transform a Cockney working-class girl into someone who can pass for a cultured member of high society. His subject turns out to be the lovely Eliza Doolittle (Audrey Hepburn), who agrees to speech lessons to improve her job prospects. Higgins and Eliza clash, then form an unlikely bond -- one that is threatened by an aristocratic suitor (Jeremy Brett). THE CHALLENGE:  CREATE A "GIRLY" PROJECT WITH LOTS OF LAYERS. Happy Friday everyone! The ending of another week..woohooo!!  We have a new challenge at Creative Corner Challenges .  It's all about Rainbows.  You can have an actual rainbow, rainbow colors or however you wish to interpret it as long as we can see how the rainbow is represented in your project. Here's the fun card I made this week. I used a big background stamp for the image and stamped each line in a different color of the rainbow.  The ribbon is American Crafts and the sentiment is just from my stash.  A really simple yet (I think) pretty card.
