Hey everyone!  I'm up with this week's challenge at the Cardz4Guyz blog today.  My theme is to use a die cut on your project..pretty easy right!  For my card, I used this really fun fold that came into my email from Debbie Naylor who has a great Stampin Up blog www.UnfrogettableStamping.com   .  She sent us this great tutorial on how to make a U-Fold card!  I really thought this was fun so I gave it a try !  I used some Stampin Up with this card but you can totally use whatever product you have in your stash! Now I'm just showing you the front of my card, but if you check out her original tutorial from Feb 14, 2019 you will see just how fun this fold is!  This is super easy thanks to her step by step instructions!  Try it, you will be making tonz of these   Now for my card, I used some scrap paper and an old stamp that I had for the sentiment.  I used a combination of my CC Designs die to cut out the oval in the centr...

Hello friends! I'm back with the second part of my Year of the Sampler  for January using the January 2019 Sampler from Scrapbook & Cards Today.  I know it's February, but things got busy and I didn't get a chance to post! So these are using the few items that we received from the Webster's Pages Love is in the Air collection. I ended up with a couple of cards and a couple of ATCs(as I had a swap due! :) ) So for this one, I fussy cut the flowers on the Sweet Fragrance sheet to use as my focal point.  I then added a sentiment from Stampin up and a few enamel dots.  I went over the flowers with a bit of Wink of Stella  For this one, I made it a 4x4 card for something different.  Using the same paper from the other card, I stamped the sentiment also from Stampin Up.  I added a butterfly and some little springs also from Stampin Up and then a little circle tag that was just in my stash.  A couple of blingy stars to finish it off.  F...

Our theme is Carols/Songs. Here's mine, inspired by O Christmas Tree and God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen    This is from a Stampin Up kit that I found on one of my shelves. (Sorry, the name escapes me)  I didn't have the actual stamps that went with the kit so that one is from my stash, and I added the twine and the Nuevo dots.  It's fairly clean and simple for me, and quite easy as well with all the pieces needed right there in the kit! Ok, so as we spoke a few days ago, my crafty goal this year is to use up my  Scrapbook & Cards Today  Samplers as they come in. So January has some fun goodies from Webster’s Pages, Photo Play Paper and American Crafts. I’m highlighting today the cards from the  Photo Play Paper p ieces we got. Now this set of papers is from their Hello New Year II set. I don’t make New Year’s cards and I rarely take pictures for New Year’s to warrant a layout. So what could I create with this…. Quite a bit actually. My first card is a wedding card! The champagne die cut and the DP are from PPP, the foil die cut and the glitter paper as well as the sequins are from my stash.  I added some washi from Stampin Up as I thought it went really well with this line. Hello Monday Peeps!  Have you stopped by th e UYS blog today? Our new challenge is up!  This week we are using triangles! So I decided to go with a layout today because I really wanted to try a background die cut.  I came across this one from Bits and Pieces .    I thought it would be fun to do a Disney Layout and back the pieces with my Disney papers.  The actual diecut is called Shattered Glass but it has some fun triangle pieces to it. I used DP from Simple Stories & Echo Park, as well as their embellishments.  The sentiments are die cuts from Stampin Up and the internet. Ok, so I'm not really a big coffee drinker unless it's a Tim Horton's ice cap, but I really love the Tim Holtz coffee embossing folder when paired with the Stampin Up Perfect Blend stamp set. Our challenge at Use Your Stuff this week is dry embossing, so this is perfect!  I also used my Susan K. Weckesser Colorbox  color pop inks that I won from Creative Scrapbooker Magazine. ..OMG these things are so juicy! I LOVE THEM! If you haven't tried them yet, I highly recommend them! I also got the Becky Higgins Project Life Fuse Tool for my birthday and have been having some fun with that. I decided to make a small shaker using real coffee!  It's almost like a scratch and sniff card :) I hope you like it and will play along with us at UYS this week!

Hello all.... Green is my favorite color so I love ST. Patrick's Day.  However, I don't have a lot of supplies for the day so I don't make a lot of cards. I did give it a shot with some old stuff I had in my holiday box.  The paper is from Reminisce and some Imagination Project from 2005.  I don't even think they are around anymore. The image is a freebie that I got from Miss Kate Cuttables called Happy Pot O Gold :)  I just did a flatten in my design space. The ribbon is just from Michaels and the stamp is from Stampin Up (Greatest Greetings) I created this for the Paper Play Sketches challenge this week.

Hello All, Playing along with Mojo Monday's sketch today! This sketch is pretty layer heavy which for me is great because I love layers. I have a big box of loose papers, some that are mine, and some that I got from swaps and such.  I really wanted to start getting this box down, so I used some papers for this challenge.  I don't know where they are from as I think I got them in a swap. I made two cards, basically the same but with a slight variation.  I hope you like it and don't forget to play along! So I get the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up.  I'm not 100% sold on it yet (it's been since September) but can't quite bring myself to cancel.  It's been hit and miss for me. The December kit was a desk calendar kit.  Ya, not my thing.  So with the help of Pinterest, I found some great card ideas instead! We have a challenge at Use Your Stuff this week which is Flowers!  Perfect.  The kit has some great flowery bits that I could use!  Take a look!     They actually turned out great! Thank you to those totally creative individuals on Pinterest! Hi Everyone!  Tammy here and I am really excited to be a part of the Sunsational Stamps team and to bring you my first project as a DT member.  I saw the Bluebird of Happiness on the Scrapping with Lisa site and thought it would make such a cute wedding card.  Soon it will be the season for those pretty weddings, and it's always great to have cards on hand. The DP is from October Afternoon, and unfortunately I can't remember the line it is.  I used my Spellbinders dies to cut out the scalloped and regular squares.  The image is colored with my copics and then I went over just a few areas with my Wink of Stella clear marker to give it a bit of sparkle.  (It doesn't seem to show well in the photo though).  The sentiment is from Stampin Up (Labels of Love) and the little sparkly hearts are just from my stash.  I hope you enjoy this card and don't forget to stop by the store and see what inspires your next project!

Hey there.  It's another new challenge on Lollipop Crafts this week and we are looking for your boxes or gifts.
