Welcome to Tuesday! Here we go with our latest sketch challenge on Tuesday Morning Sketches!  This is a pretty one! For fun on this one, I had my son pick out 5 cues from my challenge bucket  to use on my card.  This is a great idea if sometimes you  have trouble getting your mojo going.   I have this bucket that lists all kinds of scrappy goodies on a piece of paper, ie patterned paper, twine, ribbon, embossing, stamping, eyelets etc.   Then you pick 5 and incorporate them into your project!  So the 5 he picked for me were twine, freebie, washi tape,  embossing (heat or dry), tiny type word stickers So this is what turned out! For the freebie, I used the leaf die cuts!  It turned out pretty good I think.  I had this DP in my autumn folder for awhile now and I wanted to use it. I hope you will play along with us this week!

Hey everyone!  I'm up with this week's challenge at the Cardz4Guyz blog today.  My theme is to use a die cut on your project..pretty easy right!  For my card, I used this really fun fold that came into my email from Debbie Naylor who has a great Stampin Up blog www.UnfrogettableStamping.com   .  She sent us this great tutorial on how to make a U-Fold card!  I really thought this was fun so I gave it a try !  I used some Stampin Up with this card but you can totally use whatever product you have in your stash! Now I'm just showing you the front of my card, but if you check out her original tutorial from Feb 14, 2019 you will see just how fun this fold is!  This is super easy thanks to her step by step instructions!  Try it, you will be making tonz of these   Now for my card, I used some scrap paper and an old stamp that I had for the sentiment.  I used a combination of my CC Designs die to cut out the oval in the centr...

Hello All, Playing along with Mojo Monday's sketch today! This sketch is pretty layer heavy which for me is great because I love layers. I have a big box of loose papers, some that are mine, and some that I got from swaps and such.  I really wanted to start getting this box down, so I used some papers for this challenge.  I don't know where they are from as I think I got them in a swap. I made two cards, basically the same but with a slight variation.  I hope you like it and don't forget to play along! Hello all! I am hosting this week's challenge at  Use Your Stuff  and we are playing BINGO!  I've created a fun bingo card to use on your project (a great way to get the MOJO going as well if you are stuck!).  Here's the card , there are lots of fun items to play with.  Here is the card I created using the horizontal line of red, die cuts/cut aparts, hearts and doily The DP is from American Crafts XOXO collection. The doily, die cuts and white foam heart are from recollections and the glittered hearts I cut using some Recollections glitter paper and my little $$ store heart punch.  I hope you like it and hop on over to the  blog  to play along and to see what the rest of the DT has created for you!

I have another card for you! I know 2 in one day! Whew!   Tuesday Morning Sketches is another place I love to draw inspiration from and they have a great sketch for this week. I am still playing with the mounds of product hanging out on my desk so I created another card using the Jovial line from Basic Grey.  I also had an old Tim Holtz stamp that I haven't used in awhile that went well with the DP I used for this card. I've got a lot of those little doilies on my desk so it was great to pull one out and it went great with this line.  I love the teal!  I used the new Mermaid Lagoon ink for the stamp as well as the Expresso.  Some little brads to finish it off.  I am happy to say as well that I finally used up the entire Jovial card kit that I had...success!!! :) Please stop by Tuesday morning sketches to play along!

I am trying to get Christmas cards done for my craft fairs which are coming up in November.  I really liked the sketch that Mojo Monday had this week so I decided to play with that one! Here is my card! ] I have been challenging myself to use the mounds of items all over my craft desk this week! I have a Jovial card kit from Basic Grey as well as a bunch of random stamp sets so I used them for this card.  I think those penguins are adorable.  The embossed background was another sheet I had lying around so decided to use that as well.  I hope you enjoy it and don't forget to play along with Mojo Monday to get the creative juices flowing!

So this past weekend, was my yearly trek to the Great Canadian Scrapbook Carnival hosted by the lovely ladies at Canadian Scrapbooker Magazine. This year's theme was the 80's and I totally got my groove on!  It was so much fun!  I am also excited to report that I will have 2 layouts published in the upcoming spring issue, so I cannot wait for you to see that!  It will be one double layout and one single!  So excited and grateful to Canadian Scrapbooker for allowing me to be a part of their amazing magazine that highlights such astounding talent from coast to coast! Hi Everyone! Another quick post today for our challenge at Creative Corner Challenges. It's been so busy with work and my son ill again (an infection in his finger this time and some visits to the doctor and chiropracter to help with a gait issue) that it's amazing I've had time to craft this week! Our challenge is Clean and Simple also known as CAS.  This is a challenge to use less and less embellishments and papers on your project.  The least amount the better.  This is always a challenge for me because I love to embellish.  However, I am thrilled with how this card turned out.  I used a sketch in the March/April issue of Papercrafts magazine  and its just a fabulous one. I just used a couple of scraps of paper in my basket and the butterflies were sent to me in a swap.  They were regular corrugated cardboard and I misted them with my smooch spritzes!  The pearls are from my stash and the sentiment is K Andrew Designs I...

Happy Friday everyone! The ending of another week..woohooo!!  We have a new challenge at Creative Corner Challenges .  It's all about Rainbows.  You can have an actual rainbow, rainbow colors or however you wish to interpret it as long as we can see how the rainbow is represented in your project. Here's the fun card I made this week. I used a big background stamp for the image and stamped each line in a different color of the rainbow.  The ribbon is American Crafts and the sentiment is just from my stash.  A really simple yet (I think) pretty card. Yikes...it has been a long time since I have posted on here.  I've mostly been using my other blog on wordpress but I am going to try to keep this one updated as well so bare with me.  If you are interested in any previous posts, check out http://tampatha.wordpress.com which is the other blog. Inspired by a post I saw on a blog today (I'll try and find the post for you later because it was a great idea for cards), I created this card for the challenge at Red Carpet Studios this week. Inspired by The Wedding Singer (A movie I myself have not yet seen, hard to believe I know, considering how much of a movie whore I am, but I am not a fan of Adam Sandler), the challenge is to create a wedding or anniversary card. Here's mine... I went for non-traditional colors on this one and I think it could really be used for either wedding or anniversary which is always great.
