So I get the monthly Paper Pumpkin kit from Stampin' Up. I'm not 100% sold on it yet (it's been since September) but can't quite bring myself to cancel. It's been hit and miss for me. The December kit was a desk calendar kit. Ya, not my thing. So with the help of Pinterest, I found some great card ideas instead! We have a challenge at Use Your Stuff this week which is Flowers! Perfect. The kit has some great flowery bits that I could use! Take a look! They actually turned out great! Thank you to those totally creative individuals on Pinterest! These are the rest of the cards I made with the kit! All the sequins and butterflies (using the Butterflies thinlits from Stampin' Up) were from my stash as were some of the sentiments but much of the cards were from the kit. I think they turned out well! Now, make sure you stop by the Use Your Stuff blog this week and jo...

Hi Everyone! Another quick post today for our challenge at Creative Corner Challenges. It's been so busy with work and my son ill again (an infection in his finger this time and some visits to the doctor and chiropracter to help with a gait issue) that it's amazing I've had time to craft this week! This is always a challenge for me because I love to embellish. However, I am thrilled with how this card turned out. I used a sketch in the March/April issue of Papercrafts magazine and its just a fabulous one. I just used a couple of scraps of paper in my basket and the butterflies were sent to me in a swap. They were regular corrugated cardboard and I misted them with my smooch spritzes! The pearls are from my stash and the sentiment is K Andrew Designs I...

It's a new challenge over at CCH and this week it's all about the shaped cards! We would like to see some fun and unique shapes, anything that isn't your typical square/rectangle traditional. Our sponsor this week is the Digi Doodle Shop and they have some fabulous images, some of which we got to play with. Here's my card for this week The shape was cut out using one of my cricut cartridges ( A Child's Year I believe, very versatile). I punched the butterflies using one of my cuttlebug dies and added a few bits of bling to liven them up. The image was colored with my copics and the DP was just from my stash. I have been introduced to flocking! I picked some up on sale at my LSS and love it, so the bunny's ears and her eggs are flock! Way cool! I hope you like it and be sure to stop by the challenge blog and enter this week's challenge! Entered into the following challenges: The Crafty Pad: use a digi I Did It Creations: Welcome Sprin...
